Cannot disagree with this article on designing an office. The office should have a certain amount of functionality, but not go overboard on creativity. I also believe the “open design” is not as collaborative as this article suggests. The individual in the office space should be able to grant access, or deny access based on what he is working on. The workplace should stress productivity, proper lighting, correct colors, and functional layout (as correctly identified here)!
